Child and infant fares

  • Child fares follow the same fee structure as adult fares and depend on the booking channel.
  • When booked on the flyaqaba website, mobile app, via flyaqaba Customer Centre or a flyaqaba travel partner, the infant fare in Economy Class will be JOD 17 per sector plus taxes. When booked in Business Class, the infant fare will be 10% of adult fare per sector plus taxes.
  • For connecting flights (bookings with multiple sectors for a single flight), the infant fare will be JOD 32 per sector plus taxes in economy and 10% of adult fare per sector plus taxes in business.
Rebooking and cancellation rules for flyaqaba fares:

  • Full or partial rebooking: any difference in fare, taxes, surcharges, and the rebooking fee per person per sector must be paid.
  • Full cancellation: the applicable cancellation fee per person per sector must be paid.
  • Partial cancellation: a one-way fare of the same or higher value for the used sector, taxes, surcharges, and cancellation fee per person per sector must be paid.
Partial cancellation is not allowed when the journey hasn’t started. If you haven’t started your journey and still want to cancel any of the flight sectors, we’ll need to cancel the entire booking.
  • Connection bookings can’t be converted to bookings with ‘stopover’.
  • Cancellation refunds will be issued in the form of flyaqaba voucheri.
  • For non-refundable fares, only applicable taxes will be refunded.
  • Any government non-refundable taxes are not applicable for refund.
  • Cancellation of optional extras (meal, baggage, seat) is allowed only 24 hours prior to departure.
  • Out-of-sequence usage of flights in the booking is not allowed. If a passenger breaks the sequence of flights, all unused flights may be cancelled and no refunds would be issued.
